Sam Smith’s Stay With Me, the follow-up to February’s Money On My Mind has earned the coveted title of the UK’s Official No.1. Single.
The track, which saw competition from Mr Probz’ Waves (staying strong at No.2 this week), replaced Rita Ora’s I Will Never Let You Down, and is taken from Smith’s upcoming debut album, In The Lonely Hour, set for release tomorrow (26th May).
Upon finding out the news at Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Glasgow, Smith said “I really poured my heart into this record and I’m just so happy people love this song. Thank you so much.”
