DJ sets from Disclosure, Norman Jay, Nero, Mr Scruff and UK garage icon DJ EZ, are all on the cards, alongside many more names, for Arcadia’s 2014 stint at Glastonbury next month.
The full Arcadia line-up, released earlier today, comes with the news that the ‘arena’, which has played host to some of the biggest names on the DJ circuit in recent years (including a surprise performance by Fatboy Slim at last year’s festival), will also be moving to a new, more-permanent location at Worthy Farm.
Now confirmed as having their own field (by The Park), Arcadia 2014 will once again see the return of the iconic mechanical ‘Spider’, alongside a new addition, the ‘Hand of Man’. The 26-foot long structure is capable of picking up cars, crushing them, and slapping down the Spider if he gets unruly. Operated by a cyborg style glove, it’s completely interactive and open to the public to have a crack at controlling it. Now if that’s not exciting, what is?!?
In even more good news, Arcadia will now be kicking off at an earlier time of 5pm every day.
Check the full Arcadia line-up below – we’ll see you all at DJ EZ no doubt!
