British folk singer Nick Mulvey took to Radio 1’s Live Lounge show earlier today, unveiling his cover of Taylor Swift’s 2012 hit We Are Never Getting Back Together as his Live Lounge cover of choice.
The performance (below), saw Mulvey strip the track back entirely, turning the pop hit into a mellow, meadow-chilled vibe. It’s unusual to say the least, but after the first minute of confusion, you’ll be grabbed.
Mulvey is set to take his place on the Pyramid Stage at next month’s Glastonbury Festival in support of his debut album First Mind, released earlier this week.
