Following yesterday’s unveiling of the Timbaland-produced Chicago, comes A Place With No Name, the latest release from Michael Jackson’s upcoming posthumous release, Xscape.

The latest rendition is the third variation of the track we’ve heard to-date. The first was a cut-down snippet released following Jackson’s death in 2009; the second, the full demo which leaked late last year.

We have to say, we loved the first two. This latest one though, we’re unsure, particularly as it’s the official final track. It’s been ‘polished’ up from demo form by Swedish production team Stargate, and whilst we’d agree that it needed fine-tuning, this version of A Place With No Name just doesn’t float it for us. We’re also sure many fans who have heard the original demo may also agree with us on this one.

Anyhow, take a listen to A Place With No Name below, and hit the iTunes link to preorder Xscape, now. The album’ set for release this Monday (13th May); oh, we’ve also included the original demo too for you to compare. Enjoy!
