The Mariachis, the Mexican/South American Mariachi band famed for their appearance in Doritos’ advertising campaigns, have confirmed they are to make an appearance at this year’s Glastonbury Festival.
Confirming the news earlier today during their slot on Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch, the group found fame after covering hit ‘guilty pleasure’ songs in the unique Mariachi sound. The Glastonbury appearance for the five-piece group (which consists of Mexicans Salvador & Roberto, Colombian Farman, Bolivian Limber, and Juan from Chile), follows their performance at last year’s Wireless.
The Mariachis will take to Worthy Farm on 29th June at the Avalon Stage, likely between 3-4 pm.
