Calvin Harris’ return to music has earned him the No.1 spot in the UK Singles Chart with Summer.
The track, the first single from Harris’ upcoming as-yet-untitled fourth studio album, reached the top spot by knocking off Mr Probz’ Waves which dropped down to second place.
The rest of the Top 5 in this week’s countdown saw chart-staples Kiesza and Sigma remain with their latest anthems, whilst John Legend continues to reign supreme with All Of Me staying put as his biggest-selling UK single to date.
Calvin Harris called in from New York to speak to Radio 1 DJ, Jameela Jamil to accept his accolade; last week Harris also confirmed his attendance to Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Glasgow later this month.
