Ed Sheeran has covered Beyonce’s Drunk In Love during a visit to US radio station Z100’s Morning Show earlier today.
Appearing on the show in promotion for his forthcoming appearance SNL this weekend, Sheeran also spoke candidly regarding his new release, Sing: “I made that song by accident”, he said, continuing “I made it with Pharrell and just through him really pushing me and him being like ‘Man, you just gotta try this!’ And me being like, ‘No, it’s not going to work!’ And then when it started to work, [Pharrell] was like, ‘I told you!’”.
Earlier this week, Ed also unveiled the cover-art of his upcoming sophomore album, X, featuring a new ‘green and black’ theme, which is expected to carry across the rest of the releases.
