Ed Sheeran has unveiled a short live preview of his forthcoming single, aptly titled Sing.
The track, which was announced last week, will receive its official full studio premiere at 7.30pm on Monday (7th April) on Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio 1 show, and is the lead single from Sheeran’s forthcoming sophomore album, set for release later this year.
As tradition seems to dictate following Sheeran’s debut record, +, the follow-up LP has been titled x (aka ‘multiply’), and will be the first piece of brand new music from the Suffolk folk star since last year’s I See Fire.
Last September, Sheeran teased that he had finished recording some fresh music with man-of-the-moment, Pharrell Williams; a source has confirmed that Sing falls part of the end-result of this collaboration.
