Ed Sheeran has graced the cover of this month’s Billboard Magazine as he prepares to unleash Sing, the first release from his forthcoming album, x.
In celebration of his appearance on the cover of the US magazine, Billboard have released a behind-the-scenes video of the Suffolk-singer’s cover shoot, where Sheeran speaks candidly regarding his hectic touring schedule over the past couple of years. “People were very doubtful I could sell out ONE [show at] Madison Square Garden” he says in the honest interview, continuing in the publication “my reason for doing it, was to prove a point….That’s why I made them hold three [dates]… I know my fan base and I can tell when something is going well. And record sales didn’t mirror ticket sales.”
