Pharrell Williams and The 1975 are to play at Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Glasgow this summer, organisers have confirmed.
The confirmation of the two mean they will join a line-up so-far confirmed of Paolo Nutini and Rita Ora, with more acts to be announced soon.
On Friday, Annie Mac also confirmed that Radio 1 will be gearing Glasgow up for the Big Weekend by broadcasting live from the iconic George Square on 23rd May, the day before the main event kicks off. Annie Mac will be joined by Pete Tong, Zane Lowe and Danny Howard alongside more the world’s biggest DJ’s.
