Rising US singer/songwriter BANKS took to Radio 1’s Phil and Alice Show earlier this evening (19th March), for a quick chat with hosts Phil Taggart and Alice Levine, as well as throw a couple of acoustic tracks as part of the show’s Live Lounge Late feature.
Following a beautiful rendition of latest single Brain, BANKS also unveiled a sensationally-emotive cover of Aaliyah’s classic Are You That Somebody. Stripping the track down in its entirety, BANKS also played the role of Timbaland within the middle-8 of the track, making Timbo’s synonymous verse into something of a sound of beauty.
