Bruce Springsteen surprised fans last night during the opening set of his Auckland show, by unveiling a surprise cover of Lorde’s mega-hit Royals.
The performance, on the opening night of his stint in New Zealand, was an unlikely choice for The Boss, but by heck did it work! Aside from altering the lyrics to “you can call me king bee”, Springsteen kept the song pretty much intact, as it should be.
