Whilst the ‘serious’ spotlight of last night’s 86th Academy Awards (aka the Oscars) was centred around the likes of Gravity and 12 Years A Slave, the house was well and truly brought down thanks to some stellar performances throughout the ceremony.

Ever-the-showman Pharrell took to the stage to perform 2013 standout hit, Happy, whilst getting the likes of Meryl Streep, Amy Adams and Lupita Nyong to hip-shake along with him on the front-row.

Meanwhile U2 performed their song Ordinary Love, taken from the Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom movie, receiving a standing ovation on close.

However, the standout performance of the night was thanks to Pink, who celebrated the 75th anniversary of The Wizard of Oz by performing classic song Somewhere Over The Rainbow. Absolutely breathtaking.
