Kate Garraway, Andrew Castle and Myleene Klass are to join Tina Hobley amongst others as Smooth Radio relaunches to be come the UK’s fourth largest commercial radio network.

Next month, the station will relaunch with a focus toward ‘Your Relaxing Music Mix’, and will see Garraway present the mid-morning show from 3rd March onwards.

Andrew Castle is set to take over the breakfast show (6-10am weekdays), whilst Myleene Klass, already a firm favourite on Classic FM, will join Smooth to present the Saturday morning show each week from 10.00 to 14.00.

Completing the national line-up, Paul Phear will present weekday afternoons, Anthony Davis, who recently took up his new slot, remains on Drive, Chris Skinner will present ‘The Smooth Sanctuary’, and Tina Hobley will continue to present the Sunday mid-morning show.

Commenting on the announcement, Andrew Castle said, “I can’t wait to get started on the Breakfast show. I’m a big fan of the new Smooth and love the music on the station. I’m also looking forward to my Sunday evening interview show.” Whilst Kate Garraway added, “I love the music on the new Smooth and I can’t wait to get started. It’s going to be a welcome change for me, ditching the early morning starts and heading into the studio at a much more respectable time of day!”.

Myleene Klass is also gearing up for the new challenge, saying, “I love all types of music and I’m looking forward to playing some of my favourite tracks on Smooth, as well as keeping up my Classic FM show of course!”
