Kelis has premiered the long-awaited official video to new single Jerk Ribs, the first cut from her forthcoming album Food.
About the new visual, speaking to TIME Magazine, the one-time queen of Neptunes’ R&B said: “This song is the cornerstone of my album….So I wanted the video to look like my life, my love — back to the beginning”, and that’s exactly what it is. It’s a complete mix of stunning visual-ography (is that a phrase?) with very little storyline, however it does mark a solid return to our ears and eyes for the US songstress.
