Following on from last year’s Somebody Loves You (the soundtrack to the US DIY store marriage proposal flashmob back in September), rising Australian popstar Betty Who has premiered Heartbreak Dream, the latest release from the singer’s debut EP, The Movement.
The track, which takes a slightly different turn of pace from its predecessor, is an immensely strong offering from someone who has, remarkably, still yet to release a full-scale studio album, and does well to hark back to 1980s pop without sounding, well, err, 1980s pop.
Now signed to RCA (going through Columbia in the UK) Betty Who is hard at work in the studio on her debut album, due 2014.
