Last night, both Lauryn Hill and Arctic Monkeys paid tribute to The Beatles, marking the 50th anniversary since the iconic group’s first appearance on US TV’s The Ed Sullivan Show.
Performing at different venues (Arctic Monkeys at their own gig at Madison Square Gardens, Hill on The David Letterman Show), the two made their covers their own, whilst still maintaining the essence of The Beatles that captivated the world so, way back in the 1960s.
