Klaxons have premiered their new single There Is No Other Time, their first new material since the Mercury Music Award winner’s 2010 outing Surfing The Voice.
Unveiled moments ago on Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio 1 show, There Is No Other Time, produced by upcoming production team Gorgon City, paves the way for the bands third studio album due for release late spring.
After playing the track for the first time, Lowe brought the Klaxons on air to discuss their current and future plans, and dropped strong hints regarding a Glastonbury performance, with the band commenting “there are gigs planned, we can’t tell you when, yet”. Zowe subtly replied “Glastonbury!”, with a “here, here” as the response”. The trio also confirmed their as-yet-untitled new album will feature collaborations with The Chemical Brothers, James Murphy and Erol Alkan.
