The original demo of Eminem and Rihanna’s smash hit The Monster, has surfaced online. The track, taken from Eminem’s latest album The Marshall Mathers LP 2, was previous recorded by seemingly unknown artist Bebe Rexha.
Originally titled Monster Under My Bed, the Albanian singer-songwriter (who counts Selina Gomez under her writing credits), the track was written surrounding the struggles with depression Rexha encountered when she was dropped by her label in 2010.
After being picked up by former Shady Records A&R Riggs Morales, and Rihanna being secretly listed on the recording of the track, the rest they say, is history.
Check out the demo below; we [controversially] prefer it to the MMLP2 version!
