Coldplay, Jake Bugg and Bastille perform for Radio 1’s Live Lounge Christmas Special

Coldplay, Jake Bugg and Bastille took to Radio 1’s Christmas Special extravaganza earlier today, performing classic Christmas tracks as part of a unique yuletide Live Lounge.

Chris Martin and the rest of his Coldplay band performed Bing Crosby classic White Christmas, along with full-on choir, whilst Jake Bugg performed John Lennon hit Happy Xmas (War Is Over). Meanwhile Bastille did listeners proud by performing a mash-up of as many Christmas tracks as possible in just over three minutes.

Listeners were also treated to a celebritified rendition of Robin Thicke’s Blurred Lines, aptly renamed Mulled Wines, and led by Radio 1 DJ Greg James and starring Jamie Oliver, Leigh Francis (Keith Lemon), Coldplay and many more. Take a watch below:
