‘Jurassic World’ to be set ’22 years in the future’

The director of the forthcoming Jurassic Park sequel, Jurassic World, has taken to Twitter to elaborate further details on the plot.

The movie, which has a tentative July 2015 release date, will be “a new sci-fi terror adventure set 22 years after the horrific events of Jurassic Park”, according to director Colin Trevorrow, upon being posed a question by a fan regarding whether the film would be a reboot of the original.

No further information has been confirmed regarding the anticipated fourth movie in the franchise, however the original movie’s director Steven Spielberg is set to take production duties, alongside Pat Crowley and Frank Marshall.
