US popstar Katy Perry has announced details of her forthcoming 2014 Prismatic World Tour.
The tour, in support of new album Prism, will see Perry perform tracks from the new LP along with old fan favourites. The Prism World Tour is the follow-up to 2011’s California Dreams Tour which saw the singer perform 120 dates during its year-long run. Support on the Prismatic Tour will be made up of Icona Pop, whose single I Love It became one of the undisputed pop anthems of 2013.
The tour is landing the UK first in May 2014, and shows are to hit Belfast, Newcastle, Nottingham, Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester, Liverpool, Sheffield and London.
