British sensation Adele has turned down a reported $19m sponsorship deal with cosmetics giant L’Oreal.

The deal, set to have been close to sealing after months of negotiations with the singer and her management, would have seen Adele be the ‘face of L’Oreal’ over a four year period; according to The Mirror, “L’Oreal was in negotiations for the deal with Adele and it looked to be happening — but she just changed her mind on it. L’Oreal is gobsmacked that she turned down such a huge amount.”

Adele is currently working away on her third studio album, the follow-up to debut 19 and worldwide smash 21. The album does not have a confirmed release date as of yet.
