After what seems like years of speculation and rumours, it seems that both Warner Bros Studios and director Tim Burton are ready to take the helm of a sequel to 80s hit movie Beetlejuice.
According to various sources, Burton has been handed a contract to direct the upcoming movie, whilst Michael Keaton is apparently incredibly keen to reprise his role as the cheeky ghoul. However, it is not yet understood whether Winona Ryder will be stepping up to play the lead of Lydia Deetz again, so guess we’ll just have to keep our fingers-crossed on this one.
If confirmed, this is an exciting times for movie fans. With sequels to Jurassic Park along with Independence Day in the works, the classic movie reboots on the horizon are starting to excite us for the big holiday seasons over the next few years!
