Pop band One Direction have confirmed a new agreement with Simon Cowell’s Sony offshoot Syco Records. The deal, said to be worth around £50m means the 5-piece band will continue to work with Cowell until the expiration toward the end of 2015.
The new agreement’s announcement coincides with the release of tickets to One Direction’s 2014 world stadium tour, set to include tracks from the group’s forthcoming third album Midnight Memories, due November 25th.
