Janelle Monae and Chvrches took to the stage on Jools Holland’s Later show, dazzling audiences with performances from both their new albums, The Electric Lady and The Bones Of What We Believe
Joining US band Pixies along with Hugh Laurie, Monae opened the show with Dance Apocalyptic, dazzling both audiences and the online sphere at the same time. Chvrches performed album opener, and brilliant early-2013 hit The Mother We Share.
After closing with her Erykah Badu duet Q.U.E.E.N. (minus Ms Badu), viewers took to Twitter to share their nods of approval.
