Kia’s infamous dancing hamsters have gone all Gaga lately, thanks to the Applause singer’s stamp-of-approval on a new US TV spot for the growing Korean brand.
The advert for the car manufacturer’s latest sleek model, the 2014 Kia Soul, is set to air in the US just after Lady Gaga’s world premiere performance of her new single at this Sunday’s MTV VMA’s, and sees the dancing hamsters undergoing a sophisticated transformation, akin to the new sleek, grown-up tones of the facelifted model.
Kia has been on something of a windfall over the past few years, especially here in the UK. With a range of new models, designed by Peter Schreyer (who commandeered the original Audi TT), the brand recently entered the ‘hot hatch’ market with the launch of their stunning pro_cee’d GT. (As an FYI, Stagedoor FM were lucky enough to get behind the wheel of a pre-launch model a couple of months back, and it looks as great in the flesh as it does in the pictures!).
