Busta Rhymes officially announces follow-up to ‘Extinction Level Event’

Busta Rhymes has officially confirmed his new LP E.L.E. 2, the follow-up to the rapper’s acclaimed 1998 album Extinction Level Event.

After what seems an incredibly long hiatus from music (if you discount last year’s free release Year of the Dragon, and the rapper’s ‘mediocre’ attempt with 2009’s Back On My B.S.), the trailer to E.L.E. 2 (below) seems to pick up where the 1998 original left off.

Utilising the fiery cinematic scenes against orchestral operatic choir vocals (akin to Adam F’s haunting Kaos Main Title intro), the teaser trailer certainly conjures up a sense of anticipation.

Check out the full trailer below – we’re excited to [hopefully] have Mr Rhymes back on form!
