One Direction announce new single, titled ‘Best Song Ever’

Yep, really… that really is the title!

British pop band One Direction have taken to their official YouTube channel to announce their new single, titled Best Song Ever.

The single, the first release from the band’s forthcoming third album, is to be played in a new trailer, released later today, for their 3D documentary This Is Us.

Speaking of the new single, member Niall Horan said: “Hi guys, it’s us again. We’ve got a little secret we’ve been keeping and we want you to know about it.” Zayne Malik continued by saying “We’ve worked really hard on it and we hope you enjoy it and it’s called Best Song Ever.”

Best Song Ever will be available to preorder from iTunes as of tonight, with a release date of 22nd July for downloads. The physical release will be in-stores on 19th August.
