After debuting her acting career in Battleship, singer Rihanna is being lined up to play late singer Josephine Baker in a forthcoming biopic.
In an announcement by movie producer W Lance Reynolds, the star was mentioned as the first choice to play the late French/American singer:
“Rihanna is one of the most talented performers of this millennium…. With her unique acting and performing abilities, I have no doubt she will bring Josephine back to life on the big screen.”
