Chris Smith, the other half of US rap group Kris Kross, has spoken at friend Chris Kelly’s funeral about the times they spent together. In an emotional tribute, Smith, aka ‘Daddy Mac’ (to Kelly’s ‘Mac Daddy’) outpoured to the congregation and vowed that their friendship will never be forgotten:
My life… ain’t never gonna be the same, but I just hope our legacy for hip-hop is never forgotten. I’m gonna do my part to make sure Chris’ legacy will live on.
