Whilst Daft Punk’s latest release ‘Get Lucky’ not only set records globally, AND became the band’s first official UK number one, it’s also been given the remix treatment over and over again. The latest version, recorded by London folk/acoustic band Daughter for Radio 1’s Live Lounge, completely spins the track on its head. Providing a haunting backdrop led by lead vocalist Elena Tonra, the track is simply beautiful and totally removes the disco themes of the original.
