US R&B artist Chris Brown has taken to laid bare in a frank radio interview with American TV-host Ryan Seacrest.

In the interview, recorded this morning, Brown opened up on a multitude of topics, including his new album and future collaborations. However the facts most people wanted to hear about were also included, namely ‘that’ Rihanna incident as well as an explanation of what exactly happened during that incarceration with the car park valet!

In the ‘On Air With Ryan Seacrest’ interview, the star, when asked by host Seacrest regarding whether he ever expected Rihanna’s forgiveness, admitted “I just tried my best to be the best man I could be over the years and just show her how remorseful and sorry I was for the incident and that time was probably the worst part of my life and being that she has and she’s a wonderful person I’m eternally grateful and thankful.”

The ‘Excuse Me Miss’ singer went on to explain that maybe youth-ignorance played some small part, saying “I think for me that at age 18, 19, I was capable of writing and producing songs, so I’m also capable of making the right choices. Being at that young age, I can tell you I was arrogant and definitely hotheaded. Everybody has a temper, but for me it was not knowing how to control it when I thought I had the world in my hands.”
