Ex-Sugababe Keisha Buchanan has taken to Facebook to assure fans of an imminent release to new music.
The star is currently in LA recording new material with bandmates Mutya Beuna and Siobhan Donaghy, and bar a short acapella video release in January, it seems to have all gone quiet for MutyaKeishaSiobhan.
In her Facebook message, the singer told fans:
We know your all waiting for music, the support has been amazing, We’re almost there guys! Exciting 🙂
We really want to have musical integrity so we are extremely picky when it comes to our sound, plus we write our songs, lyrics, melodies etc there are even tracks where we’ve been a part of building the music so that’s why its taken a tad longer than you probably expected haha. We want to stand by a body of work that we’ve given our all too and that we are proud of! And most of all we want you guys to LOVE it. Almost there. …. This …is …so…. Exciting
The band’s new material remains as one of most eager-awaited albums of 2013, and Buchanan has stressed musical integrity as the reason for the delay.
With an exclusive interview with Idolator.com surfacing over the weekend, as well as Keisha opening up on her Facebook post, it seems new music could be just around the corner.
