[VIDEO] Jay-Z, Kris Kross, Usher, Mariah Carey & Ludacris join Jermaine Dupri on stage at the So So Def 20th Anniversary show

Last night, guests at the iconic Fox Theatre in Atlanta were treated to something spectacular.

It might be hard to believe that the So So Def record label launched 20 years ago, however last night’s event at The Fox paid homage to some of the greatest tracks that have influenced both US urban culture and the post- East Coast/West Coast rap scene.

Veteran producer Jermaine Dupri welcomed stars past and present onto the stage last night at arguably one of the A-list urban concerts of recent times.

Most notably, hip-hop legend Jay-Z joined JD on on stage to perform the classic 90s track ‘Money Ain’t A Thang’. Taken from 1998 album ‘Life in 1472’, the track was a standout at the time, and still hold strong today. The performance itself serves proof that on-stage duets within the rap/hip-hop scene work just as well today as they did yesteryear.

Amongst the other stars present were kids-now-men ‘Kris Kross’ who of course performed their unforgettable 90s track ‘Jump’ to the roars of the audience.

Other icons including Ludacris, Usher, Da Brat and Ludacris also appeared onstage at the exciting anniversary show. Check out the video of Jay-Z and Jermaine Dupri below…. oh to have been a ticket holder that night.
