Yep, you read that headline right… Whilst speaking to Japanese fans during a webchat this morning, Beady Eye frontman Liam Gallagher, when asked what he thought about the K-Pop track that stormed 2012, replied with “I think it’s an absolute classic… I love it. My kid dances to it every morning and it makes me chuckle and spit out my Corn Flakes. I can’t wait to hear his new tune.”
Seriously, we’re not making this up…
In more upsetting news, Gallagher recently confirmed he has no intention of bringing his former band Oasis back together again. The singer (who’s currently in the studio putting the finishing touches to Beady Eye’s second LP), recently vented over brother Noel’s solo success:
“Was I pleased for him? What, for splitting up my fucking band? I’m not pleased for him, no! I hope he’s fucking happy but he doesn’t look it. Fuck Oasis as far as I’m concerned and fuck Noel Gallagher. The thought of going onstage with that fucking idiot and hanging out with his daft mates, the pretend drug addicts and all his snobs from Sloane Street. Fuck that, not interested, mate. We’re Beady Eye all the fucking way… I’ve got a new record, I’m buzzing off it.”
Enough said there, really….
