US rapper Yelawolf has just unleashed his new single ‘Way Out’ onto the interwebs. The track, off his forthcoming mixtape ‘Trunk Muzik Returns’ will be released alongside the free mixtape on March 14th.

Yelawolf hit mainstream success on his 2010 mixtape ‘Trunk Muzik’ and since then has been muted as one of the saving graces of poetic hip-hop (with that release considered by many critics as the greatest mixtape of all time). The rapper, who is signed to Eminem’s Shady Records, released his first major studio album ‘Radioactive’ in 2011, and surprised many the following year by releasing the joint EP ‘The Slumdon Bridge’ with our own export Ed Sheeran.

2013 is set to be a massive year for Alabama-born artist, with three big releases in the pipeline; forthcoming mixtape ‘Trunk Muzik Returns’, another collaboration EP (this time with Big K.R.I.T.) on ‘Country Cousins’, and then his third studio album, tentatively titled ‘Love Story’.

If you haven’t heard any of Yelawolf’s work, I strongly suggest you check out anything and everything. He’s the next generation of hip-hop and with the likes of Interscope and Shady Records putting faith in him, you know he means business.
