Ex Mis-teeq singer Sabrina Washington has just shared the lyric video to her new single ‘Gone’ on YouTube. The track, Washington’s first release on her own label ‘Swash Music’ is inspired by the barrage of life’s problems and how different people deal with them in different ways.
Some of you may remember the singer’s first foray as a solo artist back in 2010 with ‘OMG’. Sampling Snap’s anthemic ‘Rhythm Is A Dancer’, the track failed to crack the Top 40 (a shame as I found it a fairly upbeat and solid pop track back then); fingers crossed Sabrina manages to get some solo success with her new album, due out later this year….
….or selfishly speaking, hopefully not, so she can get back together with the rest of her old garage/RnB group and add another dose of happiness to #YearOfTheComeback.
