Justin Timberlake surprised guests at a pre-Superbowl charity event last night by not only introducing his new band (JT and the Tennessee Kids) but also previewing a couple of new tracks off his forthcoming 20/20 Experience album.
Timberlake opened his set at the annual New Orleans event, co-hosted by Dallas Maverick-owner Mark Cuban, with an introduction to his new show-band, and then kicked off with first solo hit ‘Like I Love You’.
After running through a selection of tracks from his debut and sophmore albums (as well as a fusion of Cry Me A River with Ni**as In Paris), Timberlake unveiled two new tracks. Both ‘Little Pusher Live Girl’ and ‘That Girl’ (both below) are widely expected to appear on JT’s soon-to-be-dropped new album.
Oh, and if that wasn’t enough; the set was ended by latest smash ‘Suit and Tie’. Throwing on a stellar performance and then bringing in hip-hop heavyweight (and collaborator) Jay-Z sealed the evening as a VERY welcome comeback to Timberlake, as well as ensuring he definitely has bought some cool and class back.
