Those who have been fans of Eve since her Scorpion days will rejoice at today’s announcement that she’s finally set to release her 4th studio LP, ‘Lip Lock’.
The new album, her first since 2002’s Eve-olution, has been in the making for almost as long as Dr Dre’s heavily-rumoured Detox. Originally titled ‘Here I Am’ and muted for a release in 2007, the album was initially preceded by the Swiss Beatz-produced ‘Tamborine’, however after many delays (apparently down to ‘issues’ with Interscope), Eve decided that 2013 was going to be her year.
With rumoured collaborations to include Chrisette Michele, Pusha T and Snoop Dogg [Lion], Lip Lock is set for release on May 14.
