Daft Punk have premiered the official video to their new single Instant Crush, featuring Julian Casablancas.
The track, taken from their phenomenally successful (yet unfortunately disappointing-in-parts) latest LP Random Access Memories, follows Lose Yourself To Dance and Get Lucky as the third official release form the album.

BREAKING: Lauryn Hill unveils lyric video for ‘Consumerism’
Further to last week’s fantastic appearance on-stage in New York, Lauryn Hill has premiered the official lyric video for Consumerism, the track she initially unveiled upon her release from prison in October.
Even though the track is now over two months old, anything new from Ms Hill, arguably one of the greatest ‘femcees’ to grace modern music, is always a plus sign.

R. Kelly performs medley of hits on Jimmy Kimmel Live
R. Kelly took to US talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live last night, performing a medley of hits for lucky audience members.
Appearing in support of new album Black Panties, set to drop next week, the crooner belted out a mix of You Deserve Better, Genius and My Story from the new LP, bringing out 2 Chainz on the former.

During her stint for her Mrs Carter World Tour in Los Angeles on Monday, Beyonce dedicated her medley of I Will Always Love You and Halo, to Paul Walker who was killed in a car crash on Saturday.

BREAKING: ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’ official trailer airs
The trailer for forthcoming anticipated movie-sequel The Amazing Spider-Man 2 has aired online.
The movie, set for a May 2014 release, sees Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone reprising their roles of last year’s reboot, along with a return for character Harry Osborn.
The movie is set for two more sequels – a third, tentatively due June 10, 2016, and the fourth movie set to land on May 4, 2018.

John Lewis use social media to find 5 year-old ‘bauble breaker’
Whilst usually we mainly report on music and entertainment, this little story warmed our hearts so much we felt it deserved a hefty mention! By utilising their social media efforts, British department store John Lewis has managed to make contact with a five year-old girl who wrote to the store to apologise for breaking a Christmas tree bauble.
The letter, below, was sent to the store, saying “To John Lewis Cambridge. I’m sorry I broke a Christmas bauble on Saturday. It cost two pounds. Here is the money for it. Sorry again, Faith, aged 5.”
The store have confirmed that after using their social media efforts, Faith’s parents had been tracked down. Speaking to the Daily Mail, the chain said, “The letter arrived on Tuesday afternoon and had no return address or indication of who the young girl was. She visited us on one of our busiest weekends of the year and we still are unsure as to which bauble was broken. We’d like to thank her and because of her adorable letter maybe give her something from the store she would like.”
All together now…. aaaah!

Cheryl Cole set to grace Coronation Street
Coronation Street, arguably television’s most famous road, welcomes one of Britain’s biggest pop stars for ITV’s Text Santa appeal on Friday 20 December, when Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole appears in a sketch specially written to raise money for Text Santa’s six chosen charities.
Scriptwriters have penned a storyline that sees Cheryl Cole arrive in Weatherfield and head for the Rovers Return, looking for her childhood friend, barmaid Tina. Cheryl expects to be travelling home to Newcastle with Tina for her mum’s Christmas party, but this is Coronation Street where nothing ever goes to plan.
Appearing with Cheryl will be Corrie regulars including Tina (Michelle Keegan) Steve (Simon Gregson), Michelle (Kym Marsh), and Kirk (Andy Whyment).
Cheryl said: “It (Coronation Street) has always been part of my life, we’d all watch it as kids every night. It’s surreal to be part of something I’ve watched my whole life. It’s great to be able to support six wonderful charities and I really hope that this year’s appeal makes a difference to many lives.”
Presented by Ant & Dec, Phillip Schofield & Holly Willoughby and Christine Bleakley & Paddy McGuinness, Text Santa kicks off with a spectacular all-singing, all-dancing opening. The Text Santa entertainment extravaganza will feature an exclusive performance by Robbie Williams. Plus other special guest performances to be announced shortly.
Throughout the night, there will be emotional true-life films from the six UK based charities, who will benefit from all money raised, with guest celebrities telling the viewers about the moving stories. Suranne Jones highlights the work of Age UK; Colin Salmon speaks up for Barnardo’s; Amanda Holden visits the people behind BeatBullying; Jonathan Ross examines the work of the British Heart Foundation; Richard E Grant profiles CLIC Sargent; Jim Carter explains the role of Help the Hospices.
December sees the launch of the Text Santa online Advent Calendar, with exclusive messages and behind-the-scenes footage including Corrie stars preparing for ‘Fairytale In Weatherfield’ and Strictly’s Len Goodman and choreographer Arlene Phillips provide tips for Christmas Dancing.
