The public have spoken, and tonight, three-piece Rough Copy were knocked out the UK’s version of hit TV show The X Factor, leaving Luke Friend, Nicholas McDonald and Sam Bailey to battle it out for next week’s final.

The Killers and Tom Odell have also been confirmed to perform on Saturday show, whilst Gary Barlow & Elton John will duet along with, Katy Perry and One Direction performing on Sunday. Sources close to the show have also revealed that the winner of this series will have the chance to support and open for Beyonce’s Mrs Carter Show World Tour in Birmingham next February.

The world of rap and hip-hop is in a strange place at the moment…. whilst the past 12-24 months have seen rises in some of the unique names in the genre (Childish Gambino, Kendrick Lamar, Chance The Rapper), some naysayers often agree that the ‘golden era’ for the genre was cemented in the mid 90-s all the way until the mid 2000’s….
With that in mind, we’ve managed to track down some of the finest examples of hip-hop and rap concerts, and sets, of all time…. well, that’s our opinion anyhow.

Earlier this evening (7th December), legendary hit-maker Nile Rodgers took to the stage at Sydney’s iconic Opera House for a stellar show with his disco-band Chic.

A snippet of the video for Beyonce’s supposed new single Grown Woman, has leaked online.
The track, unveiled in full earlier this year, has yet to be confirmed as a new single, however the leak of the video clip has started tongues waggling as to whether this could be ‘one of’ the new videos Mrs Carter is working on for her forthcoming fifth studio album.

The Grammy Nominations Concert, where nominees for next year’s awards were announced, took place last night in a party full of featured performances. Taking place in LA’s Nokia Theatre, Robin Thicke, Katy Perry and Lorde were amongst some of the artists to take the stage, which heralded an impressive six nominations for British artists, along with Jay Z leading the pack with nine nominations in total.
