D’Angelo has shared his surprise new song ‘Unshaken’.
Appearing to be premiered by BBC 6Music’s Tom Ravenscroft on Friday (where he sat in for regular host Lauren Laverne), the song falls part of the soundtrack to Rockstar Games’ new game Red Dead Redemption 2, which was released on the same day.

Ben Khan has shared the official video for ‘Ruby’, lifted off his long-awaited self-titled debut album released back in the summer.
Set as one of the 14 other tracks included in the project (including the album’s lead single ‘2000 Angels‘), Khan previously described the record saying “I think the point of an artist is to show people a different side of things, to take different perceptions of life and present them back to you. Hopefully, this album will take you out of your reality for a bit and take it to the start of a fantasy place.”

A new solo track by Daft Punk’s Thomas Bangalter has appeared following a brief teaser earlier this month by French imprint Ed Banger Records.
Now uploaded in its epic 15-minute glory (courtesy of Daft Punk fan-account Crydajam), ‘Riga Take 5’ is an alternate rendition of the tech-cut shared by Bangalter as part of the soundtrack to last year’s Latvian drama, ‘Riga (Take 1)’.

Previously-unseen footage of Amy Winehouse’s ‘Love Is A Losing Game’ has been released to coincide with the DVD release of Back To Black, an upcoming film documenting the creation of her award-winning album of the same name.
Titled ‘An Intimate Evening in London’, the concert coincided with the 2008 ceremony after Winehouse failed to obtain a visa to travel to the event (where she subsequently won five awards). Instead, she threw on a private party for friends, family and label representatives where her shock of winning Record Of The Year went viral.
‘Back to Black’ (the documentary) features additional unseen footage of the artist, alongside brand new interviews with the record’s chief collaborators, Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi.

Ministry of Sound have become the latest brand to jump on the classical bandwagon, after announcing plans to bring their legendary dance compilation ‘The Annual’ to the live stage.
Coming 23 years on from ‘The Annual’s debut release, The Annual Classical will see MoS bring along a 50-piece orchestra to six venues across the UK next summer, with a London premiere in January at the Capital’s famed Royal Festival Hall.
A press release has confirmed songs by the likes The Chemical Brothers, Fatboy Slim and Dario G will all receive an orchestral makeover, whilst a documentary celebrating the compilation series is also on its way too.

Ahead of next month’s release of his new album ‘Neon Future III’, two-time Grammy-nominated DJ/producer Steve Aoki has announced his return to the UK with a full-scale 2019 tour.
Kicking off the first of 8 nationwide shows at Birmingham’s O2 Academy on February 14th, Aoki will then travel across the country stopping in Glasgow, Newcastle, Leeds, Nottingham and Bristol before concluding on 23rd February at Manchester’s O2 Victoria Warehouse. He will also play a London show at the capital’s O2 Brixton Academy.

Bon Jovi have announced their return to the UK, following their sold-out shows across the USA, Canada and Brazil earlier in the year.
Set to play dates across the country next June (hint hint, Glastonbury?), the band will mark their shows by playing London’s iconic Wembley after book-ending the venue before and after its 5-year refurbishment.
Elsewhere in the UK, Bon Jovi will also become among the first bands to play Liverpool’s Anfield Stadium (19th June), whilst they will end the tour at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena on 23rd June. Their Wembley fixture will take place on 21st June. Manic Street Preachers will provide support on all UK dates.
“Those huge shows, tens of thousands of people all together as one, that’s what we do” says Jon Bon Jovi, “And we’ve got a few things to put right by playing Wembley Stadium. We were so excited to be the first band to play that new Stadium, I would have helped build it myself to make it happen. So we have a new history to write there. We’ve had some great nights at the Ricoh too. …Throw in Anfield as a new venue – OK that’s just us showing off! We’re honoured to play there and the first thing I’m doing is getting that iconic picture under the ‘This Is Anfield’ sign.”
