It’s been almost a year since Flume dropped his second studio album Skin – from the world tour to a Grammy win, it’s safe to say 2016 was a pretty solid year for the Australian producer.
Still riding high on the project though, Flume has now shared a full remix package of the album, which features new edits form the likes of Kolsch, Baauer, Jacques Green and more.

My Nu Leng have joined forces with FineArt (aka the bass alias of DnB hero Friction) to announce the launch of their new imprint Maraki Records. First off out the locker comes FineArt’s debut EP In Too Deep, a 4-track project of club-ready rollers, and features collaborations with My Nu Leng plus Night Bass affiliate Taiki Nulight – it’s the latter track that we’re bringing you today.
BN1, which closes the In Too Deep project borrows elements from the future garage and bass/house scenes throughout – definitely one you won’t want to sleep on!

As he closed off his recent The Heart Part 4, Kendrick Lamar all but confirmed the release of his new album – “Y’all got ’til April the 7th to get y’all shit together” he said, however 7th April is here and there’s no record in sight.
However, a quick scour on iTunes has teased some more information. The new project is currently untitled yet has a pre-order release date of 14th April. Additionally the listing confirms a 14-track LP, whilst further glimpses on Reddit show a track co-written by James Blake alongside a song featuring U2.
UPDATE: Anthony Tiffith, founder of Lamar’s Top Dawg Entertainment, has confirmed the release date.

True to their word, Gorillaz have shared a wealth of new remixes of some of the lead tracks from their upcoming album Humanz.
Connecting with the likes of Bonobo (Andromeda), Nic Fanciulli (Ascension) and Claptone (We Got The Power), the new edits follow the recent reveal of the Banx and Ranx rework of Saturnz Barz.

Vince Staples, Kurupt FM, Mura Masa, Tom Misch and Goldie are among the names added to this summer’s Reading & Leeds Festival, following the reveal of a further 90 new acts onto the line-up.
Announcing the news, alongside the stage and day splits, organisers have also confirmed a UK festival exclusive from Liam Gallagher, whilst the NME / Radio One Stage will play host to Mura Masa plus Sub Focus and Declan McKenna.
Other notable acts include the addition of the BBC 1Xtra stage, featuring the likes of Bugzy Malone, Stefflon Don and MOBO winners Abra Cadabra.

George Michael’s 1996 jam Fastlove was more than just as statement upon its release; it also came to define the late star’s impeccable ability to blend soul and pop into a timeless package, and to this day still stands as one of the former Wham member’s most seminal tracks.
However, whilst the ‘radio edit’ fell at just under five minutes, nestled away within the vinyl pressing was a ‘Fully Extended’ version (aptly titled Fastlove Part II) which doubled the song’s life to 09:27.
For one fan though, that just wasn’t long enough, and so enters Shortlist writer Dave Fawbert who’s reinterpreted the song into a 30 minute power banger, and a track that really does need to be listened in all its glory to appreciate.

London Grammar made a triumphant return to London earlier this evening, hitting Hackney’s Round Chapel for the final show of their three city intimate tour.
Performing cuts from their groundbreaking debut If You Wait alongside songs from their upcoming LP Truth Is a Beautiful Thing, the trio then concluded with a breathtaking rendition of Metal & Dust. If you’ve ever seen London Grammar live, you’d be aware of how enchanting this spectacle was.
