London-based Coldabank has shared his new single ‘Take Me Back’, the producer’s debut release since signing with Warner Music.

Combining old-school marimba stabs with his own scintillating vocals, ‘Take Me Back’ sees the Coldabank delivering a fresh, uplifting vibe ideally suited to warmer climes. With a nod to Tensnake’s 2009 classic ‘Coma Cat’, it’s a track destined to soundtrack countless summer parties over the coming months.

Written and produced with collaborator Morixo, Coldabank describes ‘Take Me Back’ as “a song about longing for a simpler time in life; a golden era. Whether that’s a summer fling that burnt out, a first trip to Ibiza, or a lost love, it’s a feeling we can all relate to.”

Hear Bon Iver’s anticipated new album ‘i,i’

Bon Iver have shared their fourth studio album ‘i,i’ several weeks ahead of schedule.

Still set for a physical release on the originally-slated 30th August, the digital version of the group’s anticipated project has now dropped in its entirety.

Featuring contributions from the likes of Moses Sumney, Wheezy and James Blake, the release of ‘i,i’ originally came without opener ‘Yi’, however the track itself is slowly appearing on platforms across the globe.

Video: Watch SiR and Kendrick Lamar connect for ‘Hair Down’

Kendrick Lamar has jumped on his second cameo in as many months, following July’s appearance on ‘Nile’ (his contribution to Beyonce’s ‘The Lion King: The Gift’ record) with a tie-up on SiR’s ‘Hair Down’.

Speaking to Zane Lowe on Apple’s Beats 1, Kendrick’s label-mate said he “did exactly what he’s supposed to do, man…The song is about being confident in yourself, and he’s living his life and he definitely let it be known in that verse.”

SiR continued, describing to Lowe his love for Kendrick – “You should’ve seen me in a session when he was recording his verse, I’m sitting there like a kid. I was just trying to soak it all in, man. … I’ve had to adjust and get used to the thought that I’m supposed to be here. You know what I mean? So it’s a blessing and it’s definitely a lot to take in, but at the end of the day I think we got it done man, and I can’t wait to share more music and keep going.”

Mel B teases Spice Girls at Glastonbury 2020

Spice Girls-member Mel B has added more fuel to fire to the Glastonbury 2020 rumour-mill, teasing there’s more to come from the band’s reunion following their sell-out tour earlier in the summer.

Speaking to Mail Online earlier today, Melanie addressed Victoria Beckham’s absence from their recent tour, promising her intent to get all five girls together to perform at the festival’s upcoming 50th anniversary.

“Victoria is Victoria. She didn’t want to do it” said the singer, adding “But my plan is for all five of us to do Glastonbury next year for the 50th anniversary. I’m in the process of persuading Victoria to do it. And I will make it happen”.

Dates for 2020’s Glastonbury Festival have yet to be announced, but as per previous years, will likely take place on the final weekend of June.

Lana Del Rey announces 2020 UK tour dates

Lana Del Rey has detailed her forthcoming album ‘Norman Fucking Rockwell’, alongside announcing a string of UK shows as she gears up for her return to the road.

Set for release on 30th August, ‘Norman Fucking Rockwell’ will include all three of her recent singles – ‘Hope Is A Dangerous Thing For a Woman Like Me To Have – But I Have It’, ‘Venice Bitch’ and ‘Mariners Apartment Complex’ alongside a further eleven songs.

Lana’s 2020 tour will also see her hit the UK in February, with shows in London, Manchester, Glasgow and Birmingham. The announcement follows her stunning headline set at Latitude Festival last month.
