George FitzGerald has detailed his new album ‘All That Must Be’.
Set for release in March, the record will see collaborations with the likes of Tracey Thorn and Bonobo, with the lead single hearing the Londoner connect with Lil Silva on ‘Roll Back’.

After making waves with his stellar ‘Chicago‘ almost three years back, Après has kick-started 2018 with his excellent new single ‘Til Your Love Runs Out’.
Released via Danny Howard’s Nothing Else Matters imprint, ‘Til Your Love Runs Out’ is another fine example of how the UK seems to be leading the way in shaping house music – progressive tech sonics compliment the inviting vocals, with familiarity coming straight from the offset with some gorgeous piano stabs.

James Blake has shared his first piece of original material since 2016’s ‘The Colour in Anything’, announcing his surprise new single ‘If The Car Besides You Moves Ahead’.
Premiered during the first episode of his returning slot for Radio 1’s Residency series, the haunting, pitch-skewed track is more ‘experimental Blake’ versus some of the stripped-back sonics we became accustomed to during his last studio outing.
Toward the end of last year, James used his US tour to premiere even more unreleased music, including new songs ‘Can’t Believe The Way We Flow’, ‘Asking For A Friend’ and ‘Black Lung’; at this rate we can assume an album won’t be too far away.

Rita Ora has announced her debut BRIT Awards performance, hitting London’s O2 Arena next month.
Revealed moments ago, Rita’s appointment to the stage adds to the already-growing list of confirmed artists, including Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran, Foo Fighters, Sam Smith, Stormzy, Rag’n’Bone Man and Jorja Smith.
“I am so honoured to be performing at The BRITs this year, as a British artist it has always been a dream of mine and I am beyond excited” says Rita of the news, with BRITs Chairman & CEO Jason Iley adding “The BRIT Awards are a celebration of the biggest success stories of the last 12 months in music and Rita has had an incredible year. She is one of the most exciting British artists of her generation. I am so pleased to welcome her to The BRITs stage and very much look forward to what will undoubtably be one of the evenings many highlights.”
The 2018 BRIT Awards will be broadcast live on 21st February.

Southport Weekender organisers have announced the festival’s return to London for its second year running, hitting Finsbury Park on Saturday 9th June.
Set to celebrate the best of house, soul, R&B, garage and disco, the single-day event brings one heck of a line-up, featuring performances from Sister Sledge all the way to Jazzy Jeff, Jazzie B, David Morales, House Gospel Choir, The Dream Team and more.
Standard tickets for the event are already on fourth release, but going quickly – meanwhile VIP passes are also available, plus an extra special VVIP package which allows festivalgoers backstage access and the opportunity to meet artists in the green room area.

After sharing the surprise single a fortnight back, Kali Uchis has released her mind-blowing video for ‘After The Storm’.
Featuring Bootsy Collins and Tyler, The Creator, the video has all the hallmarks of surreality, with Kali and co channeling 60’s Americana albeit with a twisted 2017 vision.
“We can find solace in the fact that we have to go through the bad stuff to truly get to the good,” says Uchis of the song, adding “Just because you’re losing at the moment doesn’t mean you’ve lost yet. The storm may be scary now but it’s how your flowers bloom later, and paradise is just beyond the rainbow.”

Justin Timberlake has shared the video for ‘Say Something’, the third single from his upcoming album ‘Man Of The Woods’.
Featuring country star Chris Stapleton, the song marks the first true collaboration between the pair (having initially joined hips at 2015’s CMA Awards, both performing Stapleton’s cover of George Jones’ ‘Tennessee Whiskey’ and Justin’s ‘Drink You Away.

Soul II Soul have announced a huge multi-date UK tour in celebration of their upcoming 30th anniversary.
Set to kick off on 19th October in Birmingham, the shows will pay tribute to their legendary debut album, ‘Club Classics Vol 1’, released in 1988, a project that spawned hits including ‘Keep On Movin’, ‘Jazzie’s Groove’ and ‘Back To Life’. They will follow the Birmingham performance with stints across the country, including a headline show at the London Palladium on 28th October.

Tom Misch has reunited with frequent-collaborator Loyle Carner for ‘Water Baby’.
Lifted off Tom’s upcoming debut album ‘Geography’, out in April, the track follows a meteoric year for both artists, particularly Misch who will perform two sold-out shows at Camden’s Roundhouse next month.
