Mike Skinner has dropped another new track today, ‘If You Ever Need To Talk I’m Here’, following the release of ‘Burn Bridges’ and ‘Sometimes I Hate My Friends More Than My Enemies’ at the end of last year. The new music precedes the forthcoming sold-out tour “The Darker The Shadow The Brighter The Light”, which will take place this April across the UK and Europe.

Boardmasters have expanded their line-up for 2018, adding in additional headline slots from George Ezra and Catfish And The Bottlemen.
Returning to Cornwall’s Watergate Bay across the 8-12 August weekend, Catfish & co will headline on the Saturday, whilst the previously-announced Chemical Brothers will kick off the event on the Friday night. George Ezra will close on the Sunday.

Icarus have announced their first headline shows of the year, following their recent reveal on this summer’s Parklife lineup.
Heading out on a short UK tour in the spring, the duo will kick off the stint at London’s Electrowerkz on 26th April; the following two days will then be spent in Bristol and Manchester.

Parklife Festival organisers have announced their huge 2018 line-up as the festival returns to Manchester’s Heaton Park for another year.
Set to hit the venue on the 9th/10th June weekend, this year’s Parklife will be headlined by Skepta, The xx and Liam Gallagher. Meanwhile Lorde and Sampha will also join the massive roster which includes the likes of Jessie Ware, Bonobo, A$AP Rocky, Chvrches and Giggs.
One surprising mention on the line-up also nods to N*E*R*D who recently returned to the scene following the release of their latest record ‘No_One Ever Really Dies’.

Following the initial announcement a fortnight back which saw the likes of Dizzee Rascal, Chase & Status, Craig David, DJ EZ and Marshmello added to this summer’s line-up, SW4 organisers have now locked in the annual festival’s second wave, adding Oliver Heldens, MK, Hannah Wants and more to the roster.
Lethal Bizzle and Kojo Funds will be joining Hannah to become the latest additions for Sunday 26th August, whilst Saturday’s schedule will see Oliver Heldens, Jax Jones, Dillon Francis, Example and DJ Wire also on the bill.

Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran and Noel Gallagher are among the first acts to be revealed for the BBC’s upcoming Biggest Weekend.
Set to hit four different UK locations simultaneously, the Biggest Weekend (which runs across May 25th-28th) sees an ambitions collaboration with all of BBC’s radio output – Radio 1, 1Xtra and Asian Network will take over Singleton Park in Swansea, Wales for the weekend, headlined by Sheeran and Swift. Meanwhile sites in Scotland and Coventry will play host to Radio 2 and 3, featuring Noel Gallagher, Nigel Kennedy, Billy Ocean and Snow Patrol, whilst 6 Music will head over to Belfast’s Titanic Slipways – performers over the weekend there will include Beck, Courtney Barnett, Manic Street Preachers and Public Service Broadcasting.
More acts are set to be announced over the coming weeks.

Justin Timberlake has been announced as the latest performer for next month’s BRIT Awards.
Set to hit The O2 Arena on 21st February, the performance will mark Timberlake’s return to the BRITs stage, having appeared at the 2013 ceremony following the then-announcement of his third studio album ‘The 20/20 Experience’.
February is leading up to be a hectic month for JT; alongside the BRITs, his fourth record ‘Man Of The Woods’ arrives on February 2nd, whilst the following day will see him perform at the coveted Super Bowl halftime show.
Timberlake will join Rita Ora, Ed Sheeran, Dua Lipa, Sam Smith and Stormzy among the BRITs line-up.

After returning with the surprise ‘Juice’ back in November, Chromeo have now revealed the second single from their forthcoming album ‘Head Over Heels’.
Titled ‘Bedroom Calling’, the track marks the first time the Canadian duo have collaborated with The-Dream. “We’ve been obsessed with The-Dream since ‘Fast Car’ from his first album” says Chromeo’s Dave 1, adding “To us, he’s a modern day funk auteur, like Prince or El Debarge. This song pays homage to our favorite work of his.”

There was a lot to take in at last night’s Grammy Awards. Now in its 60th year, the 2018 ceremony was as diverse as you’d expect – surprise winners in the night included a huge sweep for Bruno Mars’ ’24K Magic’, whilst Jay-Z’s heralded ‘4:44’ walked away empty-handed. From a performance side, though, it was Kendrick Lamar who won the night. Opening the show with a medley of ‘DAMN.’ songs, including an appearance from Bono on ‘XXX.’, the whole set was as energetic as they come. For years Kendrick’s live shows have always been thrilling; last night’s set did not disappoint.

Arctic Monkeys have announced their return with a huge calendar of festival shows this year, including their only UK date so-far at Glasgow’s TRNSMT Festival.
Announcing the shows this morning, the band will kick off their stint on 2nd June at Barcelona’s Primavera Sound; they will then travel across Europe alongside an appearance at Firefly Festival in Delaware, before concluding at Hungary’s Sziget Festival on 14th August. Their UK show at TRNSMT will take place on 1st July.
