London-born Grace Carter has shared her new video for the powerful ‘Saving Grace’, released fresh off the back of supporting Mabel, Dua Lipa, Dermot Kennedy, and Rag N Bone Man on their recent UK and European tours.
Set as a dedication to her mother and all the women that helped shape her, the track also comes ahead of Grace’s recently-announced support slot for HAIM when they land on these shores for their forthcoming summer shows.

It seems like forever since The 1975 kickstarted their ‘Music For Cars‘ campaign. Sending cryptic tweet after tweet, the group are ripe and ready to drop their anticipated new music imminently, but before they do, Matty and co have something else up their sleeves.
Label-mate No Rome (aka R&B musician Rome Gomez) has announced a new EP, his first since 2015’s ‘Hurry Home and Rest’, and the first song from the project will feature none other than The 1975. What’s more, it’s being released tomorrow (24th May). And if the band’s previous social outbursts have led to anything, their own new music will also drop just over one week later on 1st June.

After announcing the track yesterday, Diplo and Mark Ronson have finally revealed ‘Only Can Get Better’, the first song from their new Silk City project.
Released as “an homage to some of the greatest dance music cities”, ‘Only Can Get Better’ comes less than three months until the duo hit the stage to headline this summer’s Bestival. A further song from the duo, featuring a collaboration with Dua Lipa, is also expected to land over the coming weeks too.

Lauryn Hill has announced a host of UK shows as she gears up to celebrate the 20th anniversary of her acclaimed record ‘The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill’.
The album, Hill’s debut and only full-length studio project, received nods throughout the industry straight from its release back in 1998 (particularly off the back of it’s lead single ‘Doo Wop (That Thing)’) – since then, Lauryn has delivered sporadic stints to perform cuts from the project, but never under the guise of an ‘anniversary tour’.

Earlier this year, Diplo and Mark Ronson whipped fans into a frenzy by announcing the formation of their new Silk City partnership. Now, with less than three months to go before they take their new project to headline Bestival, the duo are finally ready to lift the lid on some of the music they’ve been working on.
‘Only Can Get Better’, the first track from Silk City, has been confirmed to land tomorrow, Wednesday 23rd May, with Diplo describing their new project as “an homage to some of the greatest dance music cities.. chicago london detroit paris… .where it all began”. In an Instagram post, he continues “@iammarkronson and I met as djs twenty years ago and our paths have taken us everywhere since then. Mark is one of the most trusted songwriters of the past two decades and i’ve been a producing and djing in the dance music and pop scenes for past 20 years as well. It is great to get back together and make music…also Mark has better hair than me (and more artistic integrity) but I still bring the fire.”

Zayn Malik has followed up last month’s ‘Let Me’ with his new single ‘Entertainer’.
Premiered as Zane Lowe’s ‘World Record’ on Apple’s Beats 1, the track will join its predecessor on Malik’s upcoming second studio album, set for release later this year.

Following his win as Best New Artist earlier in the evening, Khalid graced the stage at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards, bringing along Normani to perform their new single ‘Love Lies’.
Marking her first Billboard appearance without her former Fifth Harmony bandmates, the performance fully landed both Normani and Khalid on the map – a fiery entrance from the former alongside a solo dance piece culminated in both artists reuniting to give the song a stellar close.

BBC Radio 2 will join its younger sibling in Ibiza this year, marking the first time the station has broadcast from the sunny White Isle.
Set to celebrate dance music over the past three decades, the station will bring performances, interviews and more courtesy of the likes of Zoe Ball, Gary Davis and Scissor Sister Ana Matronic.
Lewis Carnie, Head of Radio 2 says: “Ibiza has been a favourite holiday destination for our listeners for years, so I’m delighted that Radio 2 will be heading there for the first time, to present a range of special programmes from the island this June. Many of our presenters have been a key part of Ibiza’s dance history so it’s great that we can take them back and remind our listeners of the island’s great cultural heritage in music.”
Kicking off on 29th June, Radio 2 will team up with the Hard Rock Hotel to ring the ‘Sounds of the 80s’; meanwhile the following day will see a live broadcast from the terrace of Pikes Hotel. Maxi Jazz of Faithless will join Zoe Ball for a special performance, plus there’ll be a poolside-mix from Groove Armada as well as live acoustic set from Morcheeba.
More guests appearing across the weekend are set to be announced in due course.
