House Gospel Choir announce KOKO London headline show

Fresh off the back of their multiple festival appearances over the summer, London-based House Gospel Choir have announced their largest headline show to date, taking over Camden’s KOKO in October.

Having previously sold out the Islington Assembly Hall last December, the announcement of their KOKO date sees the collective return to the former Camden Palais for the first time since supporting Annie Mac’s AMP Live back in February.

Hear Morcheeba’s new single ‘It’s Summertime’

British trip-hop pioneers Morcheeba have returned with their first new album in over five years. Titled ‘Blaze Away’, the group’s ninth studio album comes alongside the release of the sunswept ‘It’s Summertime’, once again hearing Skye Edwards’ sultry vocals take centre-stage.

There’s no template for the nine additional songs on the record, bar a solid return to their more organic approach and genre-mashing of their early days. Expect features from Roots Manuva and Benjamin Biolay on ‘Blaze Away’ too.

Whilst there’s been some mixed reviews of her third studio album ‘Queen’, no-doubt many are in agreement that the project’s opener ‘Ganja Burn’ is one of her strongest tracks to-date.

On that tone, Queen Nicki’s now rejoiced fans by unleashing the regal new video for the song. It’s as cinematic as they come, and like the track itself, is one of Minaj’s best visuals so far.

Calvin Harris and Sam Smith have announced their surprise new collaboration, ‘Promises’.

Revealed on Calvin’s socials moments ago, the track will receive its official release this coming Friday, 17th August. It’s yet to be confirmed whether the song will appear on the producer’s rumoured forthcoming album, however following the success of the Dua Lips-featuring ‘One Kiss‘, we’d expect this one to be just as club-worthy.
