My Chemical Romance have teased impending UK shows, with some fans suggesting that Glastonbury will also be on the cards later this summer.

Reuniting last year following their split in 2013, the US rockers recently played their first show in LA in December; now they’re hinting at more dates with a cryptic post on their socials.

Deciphering a short visual on their Twitter and Instagram accounts moments ago, the band posted a gif detailing characters from the Theban alphabet. Spelling out ‘June’, there is a quick glimpse of the Union Jack alongside what appears to be an interpretation of Glastonbury Tor.

Check it out below. If confirmed, we wouldn’t be surprised to see the group hitting up The Other Stage as headliners.

No strangers to the festival itself, NYC’s Fun Lovin’ Criminals are set to return to Glastonbury later this summer, as confirmed by frontman Huey Morgan.

Speaking to BBC 6 Music’s Liz Kershaw during the handover from his own show to the latter, Morgan teased the band will be releasing a new record this year, whilst confirming “we’re playing at Glastonbury this year so that should be fun… yeah we’re headlining a stage [I] we can’t get into it now…”

The band’s appearance will make them one of the few acts confirmed so far for Glastonbury’s 50th anniversary, which kicks off in June – prior to Christmas, Taylor Swift was revealed as the second headliner, joining Saturday night’s Sir Paul McCartney on the bill.

Grab a listen to the full interview around the 2:56:50-mark, here; with less than 6 months to go, you can expect more Glastonbury names to start appearing over the coming months.

The Glastonbury show will be one of just three UK dates as part of the band’s own 50th celebrations; they will also be performing at London’s O2 Arena (15th July) and the Manchester Arena (18th July).

Tyler, The Creator to headline Lovebox 2020

0

Tyler, The Creator has been announced as the first headliner for Lovebox Festival 2020, and according to the BBC, will also be leading the charge at Parklife next summer too.

Marking the rapper’s first UK appearance since his sold out Brixton Academy shows earlier in the autumn, Tyler will grace both festivals in June – Lovebox has since shifted away from its heritage mid-July fixture, instead moving back a month, and also expanding from two to three days. Tyler will headline Manchester’s Parklife on 11th June, with his Lovebox appearance the following day.

Further line-up details for both festivals are expected to be announced over the coming weeks.
